GETTING TO ABIQUIU

Abiquiu is located 45 miles northwest of Santa Fe, NM on highway 84. Drive north on Highway 84/285 to Espanola, NM, turn northwest on highway 84/285, (over any one of the three bridges crossing the Rio Grande), follow the signs for Abiquiu and Chama, NM.   Abiquiu is 18 miles northwest of Espanola. at the northern tip of the Jemez Mountains.  Albuquerque International Sunport is the airport that serves the Santa Fe – Northern New Mexico region. We suggest you rent a four-wheel drive vehicle.

MEALS

A daily continental breakfast and box lunch are included in the workshop price. Dinner is on your own, except for the first night of arrival and the last night closing barbecue at the end of the workshop. There are three restaurants in the Abiquiu area; The Abiquiu Inn, Bode’s Mercantile Store and El Farolito in El Rito.

On the night of arrival, there will be a buffet dinner hosted by the Abiquiu Inn.  The closing barbecue will be hosted by the Abiquiu Workshops at Jasper Ranch, at the base of Pedrenal Peak.
